FROG POND YOGA CENTRE TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM-Training teachers since 1995 in the Classical tradition of the ancient Himalayan Rishis and meeting the standards established by The National Yoga Alliance for the 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) Certification. Eclectic training emphasizing "teach-from-the-heart" philosophy. Curriculum includes strong emphasis on Anatomy, physiology and Asana; Yoga philosophy, meditation and Yoga psychology (Chakras). The ten month program is taught over 20 Saturdays from September to June. This duration allows one to develop physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, helping to increase the connection to the true teacher within. This program will be of interest to those persons wishing to teach a beginning Yoga class and to those wishing to increase their personal knowledge of the science of Yoga.

Diane Featherstone, RYT, is the primary teacher. She holds a Master's degree in Yoga education granted by Siddha Yoga Gupha, Sumai, India and the same degree from Dr Rao's High-Tech Yoga Institute of America. Diane has been a student of Yoga since 1971 and has taught since 1979.
