The new 200 hour Teacher Training Program will begin on September 15, 2018.
Frog Pond Yoga Centre has been training teachers since 1995 in the Classical tradition of the ancient Himalayan Rishis and meeting the standards established by The National Yoga Alliance for the 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) Certification. Eclectic training emphasizes a”teach-from-the-heart” philosophy.
Curriculum includes strong emphasis on Anatomy, physiology and Asana; Yoga philosophy, meditation and Yoga psychology (Chakras). The ten month program is taught over 20 Saturdays from September to June or January to December. This duration allows one to develop physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, helping to increase the connection to the true teacher within.
This program will be of interest to those persons wishing to teach a beginning Yoga class and to those wishing to increase their personal knowledge of the science of Yoga.
Frog Pond now offers a 300 hour RYT program where we will embark on a new journey to reach the next level of submersion in the study of Yoga. The progam will be conducted on Saturdays or Sundays, twice monthly over the course of 2 years. This is an additional 300 hours of study for persons who have completed any 200HR program.
The course material will provide ample opportunity for svadyaya pravacane ca! We teach as we are!
